Though he was pretty quiet over the holidays, initial noises emanating from the Texas Youth Commission's new conservator, Richard Nedelkoff, so far sound pretty encouraging, at least judging by this morning's Austin Statesman ("New Youth Commission Conservator Vows to be Hands On," Jan. 12):"I have clearly articulated my desire to be a very active conservator," Nedelkoff said in an interview with the American-Statesman.
